Aikya

kindergarten

Imagine a Waldorf Kindergarten, not just a place of learning, but a true “Garden of Children.” At Aikya, this garden flourishes under the gentle guidance of our kindergarten teachers. They aren’t simply educators, but nurturing caregivers, embodying the warmth and protectiveness of a mother. Each child, like a unique flower in a vibrant bloom, is nurtured to blossom in their own precious time.

Our teachers understand that the foundation of a thriving garden is fertile soil. They create a safe and secure environment, a haven where children feel loved and understood. This allows each child to explore their world with confidence, their imaginations taking flight. Just as a gardener carefully selects the perfect nutrients for each plant, our teachers curate a feast for the soul through their storytelling. Each story becomes nourishment, enriching the child’s inner world and sparking their creativity.

Routine activities at Kindergarten

Just like the day of the week is predictable, so is the flow of the day, predictable for the child making sure that the child is not subjected to constantly adapting to something it was not prepared for.

In all that is done with the children in the Waldorf Kindergarten, the predictability factor helps to channelize their life- forces towards the development of the child’s body for the formal learning that begins at the age of seven or the fall of teeth as an indication for the graduation to the grade school.
